His rival Mario Barrios (record: 26w 17kos 0 loses) is not the strongest in the division, but without a doubt his size and reach will give Tank a fight.

Is he looking for a fight against the undisputed champion of the category Josh Taylor? or Is he doing like other fighters do? (example: Mayweather, Travieso Arce,and many more). They all look for interim titles to say that they were champions in multiple categories, but they don’t go against the best opponents in the division.
Gervonta Davis has enough work to do in the lightweight division, with fighters like Teofimo Lopez, Ryan Garcia, Davin Haney, Vasyl Lomachenko, Javier Fortuna, etc. I like Gervonta’s fighting style but he hasn’t proved anything against the top boxers in his division.

Tank’s boxing career is led by Mayweather, he is one of the most popular fighters Mayweather has, so they don’t want to put him in risky fights unless they get a big amount of money.
We all want to see Gervonta Davis fighting the undisputed champ Teofimo Lopez, or at least a good fighter like Mikey Garcia or Regis Prograis. Who do you think Gervonta will call out after this fight ( if he wins)?
